Volunteer Makeup Artists

About the Event

Hearts and Mind is hosting “Building You,” a wellness and appreciation brunch for foster parents and kinship caregivers across Ontario. This event celebrates the people who open their hearts and homes to children and youth, offering them a day of self-care, reflection, and community.

We will be providing light refreshments, photography sessions, and wellness activities to honor these incredible caregivers.

Volunteer Role

We are seeking friendly, skilled Makeup Artists to help foster parents feel confident and radiant before their professional portraits.

Volunteers will:

• Provide light, natural makeup (15–20 minutes per person)
• Work alongside our event photographer and other beauty volunteers
• Create a warm, welcoming experience for participants

All products and basic setup materials can be brought by the volunteer. Chairs, tables, and lighting will be provided on site.

Skills and Experience

• Experience with natural and photo-friendly makeup looks
• Professional or student makeup artists welcome
• Kind, patient, and community-minded attitude
