Role Overview

Georgian Bay Wellness is a non-profit dedicated to providing barrier-free healthcare for low- income populations, with a focus on mental health, behavioral support, and holistic wellness. Guided by our values of community, empathy, and equity, we bridge financial gaps in healthcare by funding wellness services and connecting clients to vital resources that would otherwise be out of reach.

Research and identify potential grant opportunities from government, foundation, and private funders. Write clear, persuasive, and well-structured grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting documents. Collaborate with the leadership team to align proposals with organizational priorities and initiatives. Assist in developing budgets, outcome measures, and required documentation for applications. Track deadlines, submissions, and reporting requirements to ensure compliance.

VOLUNTEER GRANT WRITER WE ARE HIRING:

We are seeking a dedicated Volunteer Grant Writer to join our team and play a key role in advancing our mission. The Grant Writer will help identify funding opportunities, craft compelling proposals, and support the development of resources that enable us to continue expanding equitable wellness services for our community.

Strong writing, editing, and research skills. Experience in grant writing, fundraising, or related fields (preferred but not required). Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a small, passionate team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Commitment to the mission, values, and vision of Georgian Bay Wellness.
