About us

The Shoebox Project for Women is dedicated to supporting women impacted by homelessness through the collection and distribution of gift-filled shoeboxes. Our mission is to uplift and empower women who are experiencing or at-risk-of homelessness through in-kind support, education, and community participation.

What you will do

  • Coordinate the inspection and organization of donated gifts.
  • Manage volunteer recruitment, training, schedules and activities during gift collection events.
  • Ensure all gifts meet quality and safety standards before distribution.
  • Collaborate with team members to plan and execute gift distribution.

  • Previous experience in volunteer coordination or event management
