Our Volunteer Events Team supports fundraising, awareness, and community engagement outside of the food bank. These volunteers help ensure a warm, organized, and professional presence at community festivals, corporate activations, and signature fundraising events. Off-site events are often the first interaction community members have with Surrey Food Bank. As part of this team, you may support:<ul><li>Event setup and tear-down</li><li>Guest welcome and engagement</li><li>Donation station support following clear procedures</li><li>Wayfinding and visibility</li><li>Content capture when assigned</li></ul>No fundraising experience is required. Full training is provided.<h3>Scheduling &amp; Availability &nbsp;</h3>Volunteer Events Team opportunities are typically:<ul><li>Scheduled&nbsp;4–6 weeks in advance</li><li>Held mostly on&nbsp;weekends&nbsp;(morning, afternoon, or evening shifts)</li><li>Posted through&nbsp;Better Impact, where you can sign up based on availability</li></ul>
