We are looking for an experienced, motivated Volunteer Event Assistant to help support two of our most important annual fundraisers: our charity golf tournament and online auction—all in support of our dog rescue.

This role is ideal for someone with prior event or fundraising experience who enjoys building relationships and making a meaningful impact for animals in need.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist with planning and execution of our annual charity golf tournament
  • Support the coordination and promotion of our online auction
  • Help identify, approach, and secure sponsors, in-kind donors, and auction item donors
  • Leverage your existing network and contacts where possible
  • Collaborate with our rescue team to maximize fundraising success

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in event planning, fundraising, sponsorship, or related roles
  • A strong network of contacts who may be interested in sponsorship or donating goods/services
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Passion for animal welfare and helping dogs in need
  • Ability to work independently while staying connected with our team
