About

The Volunteer Driver plays a crucial role in supporting our organization by providing safe and reliable transportation services for Caithkin clients. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy driving and assisting others in their community.

Key Responsibilities

• Transporting clients safely to designated locations.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations and organizational guidelines.
• Maintaining accurate records of mileage and trips.
• Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
• Communicate promptly with the Drive Coordinator regarding schedule changes, delays, or issues.
• Represent the organization professionally at all times.

Qualifications and Experience

• Broad Record Check or previous background check. If you do not have one, upon volunteering with Caithkin you will need to apply for this background check.
• G class drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable vehicle with valid insurance and registration.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• CPR certification, if possible.
• Any other certifications, if applicable.
• Educational background in child and youth care, not required but good to have- helps to understand Caithkins mission.
