Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Volunteer Coordinator to lead our volunteer programs with enthusiasm and precision. In this pivotal role, you will recruit, train, and manage volunteers across various initiatives, ensuring they are empowered to make a meaningful impact. Your leadership will foster a vibrant volunteer community, promote engagement through social media platforms, and oversee volunteer activities to support our organization’s mission. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine management expertise with social impact, creating a positive difference in the community.

Duties

• Assist Directors in onboarding/offboarding members
• Refine Interview process; create relevant documents & slide decks
• Bi-weekly check-in with other team members
• Develop role descriptions for all roles
• Maintain volunteer database - NDAs, headshots, references
• Develop key internal documents to ensure safety & security of the workplace, and ensure all volunteers/staff feel supported

Skills

• Time commitment: 3 - 5 hrs/week
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Slack, Canva
• Takes initiative
