Summary

We are seeking a Committee Member to join our team at Good Neighbours Active Living Centre. This role is vital in guiding our initiatives and ensuring that we effectively meet the needs of our community's seniors. The Committee member will help develop fundraising strategies to promote the programs and services offered at Good Neighbours Active Living Centre to the older adults age 55+ living in Winnipeg and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Participate in committee meetings to discuss and plan programs and initiatives.
• Engage in advocacy and networking.
• Tap respective networks for potential donors of money, time and in-kind support
• Support the development and implementation of the annual fundraising plan to reach to fundraising goal.
• Work with Staff and Board to connect with key influencers and prospect to develop and expand revenue sources.
• Support donor stewardship and recognition

Requirements

• Experience working in a collaborative environment
• Nonprofit committee or board experience an asset.
• Knowledge of fundraising strategies, event planning and donor relations
