The Treasurer works closely with the Executive Director, Managing Director, and Board of Directors to ensure the financial integrity and sustainability of the organization. While staff and contractors handle day-to-day bookkeeping, the Treasurer provides leadership in financial oversight, CRA compliance, audit readiness, and reporting to the Board.

This position requires both governance-level oversight and, when necessary, a more hands-on role in supporting accounting, tax filings, and audit preparation.

You will work closely with the Chair as part of the Executive Committee, as well as with the Executive Director and Managing Director, to oversee the financial health of the organization by monitoring the availability and accuracy of financial statements, supporting audits, signing off on significant financial decisions and policies, and guiding the planning of re•generation’s assets, Fundraising, liquidity, debt, and investments.
