About the Town of York Historical Society and Toronto's First Post Office

The Society is guided by the following core values:
- Inclusion — The Society and Museum are welcoming places where community participation is encouraged and valued.
- Diversity — The differences in our experiences are actively sought out and respected.
- Inspiration — Through open and effective communication, the Society and Museum facilitate creative experiences that inspire participation.
- Service — The Society and Museum provide outstanding service to the community and are committed to serving future generations.
The Town of York Historical Society and Toronto's First Post Office are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment. We strongly encourage applications from underrepresented communities, including LGBTQ2+, BIPOC, First Nations peoples, people with disabilities, and newcomers to Canada.
