Volunteer Board of Directors

Catulpa Community Support Services is a registered, accredited non-profit agency that has supported children, youth, adults, and families with special or unique needs since 1973. We deliver a range of community-based programs and services across Simcoe County and surrounding regions, working closely with families and partners to strengthen inclusion, safety, wellbeing, and participation in everyday community life.

We are recruiting new Volunteer Board of Directors members!

If you live in Simcoe County or York Region and care about strengthening supports for children, youth, adults, and families with unique needs, we’d love to hear from you!

Board members help guide governance, strategic planning oversight, and mission-related policy (this is not a fundraising or program delivery role).

Meetings: 6 per year (virtual and/or in-person in Barrie)

Term: 3 years

Mentorship provided

We welcome applicants with backgrounds in lived experience/caregiving, governance, public relations, social work, or clinical practice. Individuals with disabilities and people from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
