Volunteer Board of Directors
Volunteer Description: Board Director
SUMMARY
For more than 44 years, Daybreak Housing has been rooted in compassion and community in Ottawa, walking alongside single adults as they rebuild their lives through supportive, affordable housing. Across six homes throughout the city, we offer more than shelter—we create safe, stable, and dignified places where people can belong, heal, and rediscover hope and opportunity. Our housing is paired with personalized supports that help residents navigate mental health challenges, addiction, and financial instability, empowering them to move forward with confidence.
At Daybreak Housing, we believe housing is more than a roof, it is the foundation for dignity, possibility, and a thriving community. We are guided by a bold vision of a future where everyone has access to safe, affordable housing and no one is left behind. Through partnerships with local organizations, and the commitment of volunteers and generous donors, we work toward lasting, systemic solutions to homelessness and housing insecurity in Ottawa.
