Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Volunteer Administrative Assistant to support a growing team of social researchers and contribute to the smooth operation of our research initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about social research, eager to gain experience in a nonprofit setting, and enthusiastic about making a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the social research team, including scheduling meetings, monthly check-ins, and managing correspondence.
- Coordinate logistics for team meetings, interviews, and monthly orientation sessions, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Manage inquiries and communication with new researchers or potential collaborators.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed.

Time Commitment:
- Duration: 6 months to 1 year
- Time Commitment: 3-5 hours per month, with flexibility based on speicifc project needs.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Outlook, and other similar tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Previous administrative experience (volunteer or professional) is an asset.
- Passion for social research and community impact is highly valued.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
