About the Event

GLAM AS YOU ARE™ is a design-forward, immersive cocktail fundraiser supporting the Daisy Baby Foundation’s fertility grant for LGBTQIA+ families-in-waiting. In collaboration with Grand River Pride, the event blends creativity, hospitality, and heartfelt community impact.

Our VIP hour is an intimate moment designed to honour community champions, partners, and early supporters. As a VIP Support Host, you help deliver a warm, polished, welcoming arrival that sets the tone for the entire evening.

Volunteer Role Available

✨ VIP Support Host (2–3 people)

The Role
GLAM AS YOU ARE™ opens early for the guests who help make this night possible — and you’re the person who welcomes them into that experience with grace. As a VIP Support Host, you’ll greet early-access guests, guide them through their perks, and ensure their first moments feel relaxed, smooth, and celebratory.

You’re the soft landing, the warm welcome, the calm presence that makes VIPs feel truly valued.

What You’ll Do

Welcome early arrivals and verify VIP entry during the 5–6 p.m. window

Provide gentle wayfinding

Offer personal guidance to seating areas, activations, and photo moments

Engage in warm conversation and be available for questions

Ensure VIPs feel oriented, appreciated, and comfortable

You’re Perfect If
You’re poised, friendly, and naturally attuned to social cues. You’re the kind of person who can gracefully manage conversation, answer questions, and make guests feel instantly at ease. If you’ve worked in hospitality, customer service, or donor-facing roles — or you simply love hosting — you’ll shine here.

Bonus Points For

Experience in hospitality, guest relations, or concierge-style roles

Confidence handling sensitive moments or special requests

Comfort engaging with donors, artists, community partners, or local leaders
