Videographer (Volunteer) – Gala Concert "Movie Music Showcase

The York Regional Youth Orchestra (YRYO) is looking for a creative and passionate Videographer to capture our upcoming gala concert, "Movie Music Showcase," on June 13, 2026.

​This is a fantastic opportunity for film students or aspiring videographers to gain experience in live concert recording and build a professional portfolio while supporting a local youth arts organization.

​Event Details:

​Date: June 13, 2026

​Location: Markham, Ontario (Exact venue to be confirmed)

​Program: Film music favorites (Harry Potter, Star Wars, etc.) featuring 80+ youth musicians.

​Key Responsibilities:

​Record the live performance (full concert and highlight clips).

​(Optional) Basic editing for a short "highlight reel" for our social media and website.

​Requirements:

​Owns or has access to video recording equipment (DSLR, Mirrorless, or professional camcorder).

​Experience in or passion for live event filming.

​Reliable and able to attend the full duration of the concert.
