Do you want to use your creative skills to make a difference and build your portfolio at the same time? Here’s your chance.

Second Stage Dance is a newly registered Canadian charity dedicated to making dance more accessible and sustainable. We collect and repurpose dance items so they can have a “second stage” — keeping them out of landfills and into the hands of dancers who need them most.

On Saturday, October 4th we’re hosting our first live event and we want to capture the creativity, community, and impact of this day — but we need a visionary videographer to support us in making this happen.

As our Event Videographer, you’ll:

Film key moments throughout the event, from workshops to behind-the-scenes action.

Capture the spirit of creativity, sustainability, and joy in giving back.

(Optional) Edit footage into a polished video to be shared with our community and featured on our YouTube channel.

Why lend us your time?

To gain hands-on experience in event videography and storytelling.

Build portfolio-quality work that showcases your ability to capture community impact.

See your finished product published online and shared with a growing audience.

Be part of a creative, grassroots charity at the start of its journey — your contribution will directly shape how we tell our story.

This is a one-day opportunity with the option to continue supporting future projects if you’d like. Join us for a day of artistry, sustainability, and impact — and be the one who brings it to life on film.
