Vice-Principal, Finance
Reporting to the Principal, and a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Vice-Principal, Finance is UCC’s chief financial officer, responsible for strategic and operational leadership of all finance functions, including the College’s Foundations. The Vice-Principal, Finance also supports multiple board committees and ensures fiscal sustainability in alignment with the College’s mission, strategic priorities, and Campus Master Plan.
With a degree in finance, accounting, or business administration, a Chartered Professional Accountant designation, and ideally an advanced degree and/or additional certifications, the Vice-Principal, Finance will bring a progressive record of successful financial management and leadership in educational institutions or other public or non-profit organizations. The Vice-Principal may also be an experienced private-sector leader with a deep interest in education and a nuanced understanding of governance in the public or non-profit sector. A service-oriented leader and team player, a visionary and strategic thinker, the Vice-Principal, Finance will be skilled in all aspects of strategic financial analysis and leadership, financial operations and compliance, audit, Foundation oversight including endowment reporting and investment transactions, governance and board reporting, risk management and insurance, banking relationships, financial assistance for students, procurement, and contract oversight.
