About the Role
You’ll help SAD build and maintain strong relationships with Vancouver-based vendors (shops, galleries, boutique retailers) and local donors. - Provide tools, assets, and support so Vancouver vendors can represent SAD well (display materials, signage, marketing kits)
- Encourage vendor/donor participation in SAD promotions, events, and campaigns in Vancouver
- Track feedback, performance, and any revenue or promotional impact from Vancouver vendors/donors
- Maintain regular, proactive communication (email, check-ins, in-person/virtual as feasible)
- Develop and maintain a vendor/donor “pitch kit” specific to Vancouver that shows what SAD offers and why Vancouver vendors/donors might want to work with us
- Identify and reach out to potential new Vancouver vendors and donors
- Onboard new vendors/donors: helping them understand expectations, what support SAD offers, how to collaborate with our workflows (orders, promotions, communications)
What You’ll Gain (Volunteer Experience)
- Real hands-on experience in building relationships with vendors and donors in Vancouver
- Skills in outreach, onboarding, supporting vendors/donors, performance tracking, communications
- Insight into how SAD operates in Vancouver: how print issues are distributed, promoted; how vendor/donor relationships contribute to our reach
- A visible, measurable impact: you’ll see how your efforts help SAD’s presence, visibility, and revenue in Vancouver grow
- Valuable resume/portfolio experience in nonprofit / arts / publishing / community engagement
