Various Hobby Farm Positions

Women Warriors’ Healing Garden (WWHG) is a federally-registered Canadian not-for-profit based in Ottawa, Ontario. Since 2015, we’ve been creating safe, inclusive spaces at our hobby farm where veterans from marginalized communities—women, visible minorities, Indigenous people, and 2SLGBTQ+ individuals — can heal, connect, and thrive.

We’re currently looking for volunteers in the following areas:

• Animal Care – help care for our therapy animals
• Gardening – help maintain our healing gardens and green spaces
• Crafting – lead creative activities and workshops
• Peer Support – accompany veterans to appointments/activities
• Construction – lend your skills to building and maintenance projects
• Fundraising – support grant writing, donor outreach, and campaigns
• Events – help plan and run community gatherings
• Balms, Salves & Soaps – lead these workshops
