Role Overview
We are seeking a UX/UI Designer to help design intuitive, human-centered digital experiences across Samawada’s platforms. You will play a key role in shaping how donors, volunteers, partners, and internal teams interact with our technology—ensuring clarity, trust, accessibility, and impact.
This role blends design thinking, usability, and social impact.
Key Responsibilities
Design user-centered UX/UI experiences for Samawada’s website, donor platforms, dashboards, and internal tools
Translate complex humanitarian, financial, and impact data into clear, accessible interfaces
Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes
Improve donor and stakeholder journeys (onboarding, giving, impact tracking, reporting)
Collaborate with IT, fundraising, communications, and program teams to understand user needs
Conduct basic user research, usability testing, and feedback analysis
Ensure accessibility, inclusivity, and mobile-first design principles
Maintain design consistency through reusable components and design systems
Continuously improve usability, clarity, and trust across digital touchpoints
What We Are Looking For
Experience in UX/UI design for web or digital platforms
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
Ability to design intuitive experiences for non-technical users
Experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar
Strong visual design skills with attention to detail
Ability to explain design decisions clearly to non-design stakeholders
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Passion for mission-driven or social impact work
Experience in the non-profit or humanitarian sector is an asset but not required.
Nice to Have
Experience designing for data-heavy or dashboard-based applications
Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG)
Experience working with developers or IT teams
Understanding of donor journeys, fundraising platforms, or impact reporting
Experience supporting remote or distributed teams
