UX SharePoint Design Volunteer

Second Harvest is Canada’s largest food rescue organization and is a global thought leader on perishable food redistribution. We work with thousands of food businesses from across the supply chain to redirect unsold surplus food to non-profit organizations that feed communities in every province and territory.

By keeping perfectly edible food from ending up in landfill and redirecting it to the charitable sector, our work prevents harmful greenhouse gases from entering the atmosphere and improves access to nutrition for the millions of people in Canada experiencing food insecurity.

ROLE:

In this role, the volunteer will be responsible for working with the Project Manager, Marketing & Communications to revamp the UX on Jeeves (Second Harvest’s digital asset management platform hosted on SharePoint). Copy and graphics will be provided by the marketing team as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with Marketing Project Manager to create a new layout for the Jeeves Homepage and create a Help Page
• Build out the layouts/functionalities in SharePoint

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficient in UX design (specifically on SharePoint)
• Attention to detail
• Professional and organized

TIME COMMITMENT:

• November 2025 - March 2026
• Flexible Scheduling

LOCATION:

Remote (any day) OR Second Harvest Office at 120 The East Mall, Etobicoke, ON (Tuesdays only)
