We are seeking talented and self-motivated volunteers to assist in helping us build out our website from a basic design to an informative resource.

This is a remote, flexible opportunity where your efforts will lead design on developing our basic website towards a full build, shaping the digital presence of our organization.

Possible Activities
- UX/UI design for website improvements and expansion, with a goal of a clean, high-conversion, and emotionally compelling user experience.
- Collaborate with a remote team using Figma, Wix Studio, Slack, and Google Office Suite.
- Apply your expertise in user-centered design, responsive layouts, and accessibility (WCAG).
- Developing effective information and donation pages and membership flows that combine good design with effective information on impact and metrics with calls to action
- Google Ads/conversion pipelines development would be a big help as we have a $10k/mo ad grant with Google available to utilize and help us make an impact

Who we're looking for:
- Experience in UX/UI design for web or mobile
- Expertise in Figma
- Understanding of user-centered design, responsive layouts, and WCAG accessibility.
- Self-motivated, organized, and passionate about creating impactful digital journeys.
- Ability to work with a team in a virtual office environment via Slack. We are asynchronous, meaning our schedules are not set, each volunteer contributes their hours to help when they can during the week.
- Creative mindset to develop informative pages that help advocate to the public about the hardships faced by the Canadian disability community.

Why volunteer with us?
- Make a tangible impact by helping build an NPO that champions dignity and survival for Canadians with disabilities.
- Enjoy the flexibility of remote work
- Receive a formal reference after three months of successful volunteering
