Try it Out Shifts - Distribution Centre (South Vancouver)

The Distribution Centre in South Vancouver is UGM's donation processing centre, optimizing our capacity to receive and distribute essential supplies across our locations in Metro Vancouver, Fraser Valley, and Victoria. From the Distribution Centre, donations are sorted, priced, and tagged to be distributed in their designated locations including our Vancouver Thrift Store and Found Boutique Store in New Westminster.

This special guest volunteer opportunity provides you with a chance to try out a few shifts and get a taste of what it's like to volunteer with our Distribution Centre team on weekdays.

Tasks

Assist with sorting, tagging, and hanging donations.

Wrapping pallets

Cleaning and mopping

Drying and washing clothing.

​This role may involve lifting and bending - volunteers will need to be able to lift at least 15 lbs.
