
Therapist - Counselling & Treatment (69-25)
The Therapist will provide direct clinical services to individuals and their families in need of counselling/psychotherapy. The incumbent is responsible for delivering high quality assessment and individual/group treatment/counselling intervention(s) following best practice recommendations. The priority for service provision will be individuals experiencing serious mental illness and residing in Parry Sound. The Therapist works in partnership with other internal and external service providers to meet the needs of the client, including the provision of consultation and education internally and externally. Candidate is able to demonstrate experience in group facilitation both in person and virtually.
