  • Provide occasional technical assistance or backup to Donor Care during high-volume periods; routine donor enquiries and case management remain with the Donor Care team.

3. AI, Automation and Process Improvement

  • Identify manual or repetitive tasks that could be improved through existing technology, automation or approved AI tools.
  • Research and recommend practical solutions based on cost, usability, privacy, security and measurable organizational benefit.
  • Assist with testing, rollout, documentation and staff training for tools approved by management.
  • Help staff adopt responsible practices and escalate concerns involving confidential donor or beneficiary information, cybersecurity, accuracy or inappropriate use.
  • Support organization-wide AI initiatives established by executive leadership; focus on practical implementation and user support.

4. Cross-Departmental Collaboration and Project Support

  • Work constructively with Finance, Fundraising, Donor Care, Database Administration, Programs, Operations and external providers to understand operational needs.
  • Coordinate assigned technology projects, including tasks, timelines, testing, communication and follow-up.
  • Provide clear status updates, maintain project documentation and identify opportunities to reduce duplication, errors and unnecessary costs.
  • Assist with time-limited operational needs when requested, while maintaining continuity of essential technology support.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma, degree or equivalent practical experience in information technology, computer systems or a related field.
  • Experience troubleshooting common technical issues and providing helpful, professional end-user support.
  • Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, clear communication and consistent follow-through.
