Position Summary
The Technology & Innovation Manager supports the implementation, management, and optimization of IT systems and digital initiatives within the organization. This role ensures reliable technology infrastructure, coordinates IT operations, supports digital transformation projects, and maintains information security practices. Reporting directly to the Director of Technology & Innovation, the Manager will be a key contributor to driving innovation and efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including hardware, software, cloud services, and system administration.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot system issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Coordinate technology needs across departments and implement solutions that improve efficiency.
- Maintain and monitor networks, cloud platforms, and collaboration tools.
- Assist in evaluating and implementing new technology tools or platforms.
- Ensure high performance and reliability of organizational systems.
- Support the implementation of IT security policies and procedures.
- Monitor systems for security risks and escalate issues as needed.
- Help ensure compliance with relevant data protection and privacy regulations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and address technology requirements.
- Contribute to documentation, reporting, and updates on IT initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of professional IT experience, preferably in systems administration, IT support, or project management.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity basics, and enterprise applications.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience supporting digital projects and implementing technology solutions.
- Hands-on technical expertise with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear communicator who can explain technical concepts to non-technical team members.
