Job Purpose

As part of the Product Ministry, the Supporter Marketing Specialist contributes to the planning, personalization, and execution of campaigns that support meaningful supporter experiences and ministry impact.

This role supports Agile product teams by executing campaign components across multiple channels, applying targeting logic, and contributing to quality assurance and testing efforts.

Reporting to the People Leader in Product, the Supporter Marketing Specialist collaborates with internal teams and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure content accuracy, data integrity, and optimized delivery.

The ideal candidate demonstrates growing technical confidence, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to learning and improving campaign outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Execute campaign tasks across multiple digital channels based on sprint priorities and backlog direction.
  • Write and edit audience specific marketing copy (emails, newsletters, landing pages, CTAs).
  • Use tools such as Hygraph, AEM, analytics dashboards, and automation platforms with growing independence and confidence.
  • Apply predefined audience segments and personalization features in content builds; support QA checks and flag issues.
  • Build or test simple automation steps and logic in AJO; participate in logic reviews and quality assurance.
  • Communicate progress with stakeholders, share draft content, and track feedback and approvals for timely delivery.
  • Coordinate deliverables with vendors under direction; prepare assets and perform QA prior to submission.
  • Track KPIs and use performance data to suggest campaign improvements; support tagging and A/B test analysis.
  • Optimize basic SEO elements in digital content and ensure compliance with formatting and accessibility standards.
  • Write user stories and contribute to backlog refinement and sprint planning; flag risks early and suggest improvements.
  • Translate customer journey touchpoints into story-level tasks and campaign actions.
  • Participate in A/B testing, reflect on outcomes, and apply lessons to future work.
  • Run QA using platform tools; ensure campaign materials meet brand, technical, and safeguarding standards.
  • Mentor peers by sharing best practices and contributing to Communities of Practice; support cross-team learning and improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in campaign execution, digital content production, or marketing operations.
  • Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with marketing platforms including Hygraph, AEM, AJO, and Adobe Analytics (or equivalent tools).
  • Proficiency in campaign execution across digital channels
  • Growing independence with segmentation, personalization, and automation tools
  • Ability to use data insights to identify and support campaign improvements
  • Strong QA skills and attention to brand and technical standards
  • Strong writing skills
  • Experience using AI tools in daily tasks
  • Agile mindset with active participation in sprint planning and retrospectives
  • Clear and proactive communication with internal stakeholders
  • Peer mentorship and contribution to a collaborative team culture
