Who We Are:

Reena is a non-profit organization that promotes dignity, individuality, independence, personal growth, and community inclusion for people with diverse abilities within a framework of Jewish culture and values since 1973. During the summer, Camp Reena offers a fun and nurturing environment for children, teens, and adults to experience all that a traditional summer camp offers in a program suited to meet the individual needs of our campers. Due to the nature of Reena’s work & to protect the privacy of our Reena supported individuals, volunteers, and staff, any photographs you plan to add to your portfolio must be cleared by Reena staff.

The Opportunity:

Gain hands-on experience working with individuals who have diverse needs and abilities. The Summer Camp Photographer & videographer can expect to develop their portfolio & skills, taking posed & action shots of Reena supported individuals & staff. A camera may be provided for this role.

This role is flexible in nature and volunteers should expect to attend Reena Summer Camp Programming for several hours at a time at least once or twice a week between, June 29 & August 21st. Scheduling is flexible and volunteers do not need to commit to this role for the entire 8 weeks of camp.

Reena requires all volunteers over the age of 18 to obtain and provide a “clear” Vulnerable Sector Screening before beginning their placement, Reena will assist with this process.
