Job Description
Strategic Business Advisor will contribute their support to real housing and community projects using their overall expertise. This is a hands-on advisory role. The ideal candidate will have an opportunity to work alongside our team on active projects, help us think through business challenges and opportunities, and provide guidance based on your professional experience. Rather than owning day-to-day operations, you’ll bring perspective, ask the right questions, and help our teams make stronger decisions.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Work with teams on real projects, business challenges, and new initiatives
- Provide strategic and practical guidance based on your professional experience
- Help evaluate opportunities, business models, plans, and potential directions
- Review business cases, proposals, strategies, and recommendations
- Identify gaps, risks, opportunities, and areas that could be strengthened
- Guide and mentor team members working on business and strategic projects
- Participate in project and strategy discussions where your expertise can add value
- Help turn promising ideas into practical, well-thought-out plans.
Qualifications & Skillsets
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related fields.
- 1 - 5 years of experience in relevant areas.
Skillsets
- Meaningful professional experience in business, entrepreneurship, consulting, strategy, finance, real estate, development, operations, or a related area
- Strong business judgment and practical problem-solving skills
- Someone who enjoys sharing their experience and helping others develop
- Ability to provide constructive guidance while still allowing teams to take ownership
- Comfortable working with evolving projects where not everything has been figured out yet
- Interested in applying their experience to housing, communities, and social impact.
