
Sports Coach Volunteer
- Plan, organize, and lead sports practices and training sessions to develop athletes’ skills, fitness, and teamwork.
- Develop game strategies, drills, and conditioning programs tailored to different skill levels and age groups.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe sporting environment that emphasizes respect, discipline, and sportsmanship.
- Monitor and evaluate athlete performance, providing constructive feedback and creating individualized development plans.
- Coordinate participation in competitions, tournaments, and community events, managing logistics and preparation.
- Mentor and supervise assistant coaches, volunteers, and support staff, ensuring effective teamwork and program delivery.
- Communicate with athletes, parents/guardians, and program staff regarding progress, expectations, and program updates.
- Stay updated on coaching best practices, safety standards, and sport-specific regulations to maintain high program quality.
Who We're Looking For:
- Minimum age: 12
- Passionate about volunteering and open to learning new skills and softwares
- Complete training prior to start date
- Can commit to the shift schedule
Bonus Skills:
- Fluency/high proficiency in a language other than English
- Previous volunteer experience
