Jump In as a Short-Term “Special Events/In-A-Pinch” Volunteer!

Yonge Street Mission (YSM) walks alongside people and families facing poverty in Toronto. We’d love for you to join us in making a difference as a program and event support volunteer! No long-term commitment required. Plus, volunteer confirmation letters are available upon request.

Volunteer Overview:

As a Special Events / In-A-Pinch Volunteer, you can help out in one-day or one-time roles with our Evergreen Kitchen (assisting in preparing and serving nourishing meals), Food Bank (welcoming and guiding visitors; or helping restock food shelves), Double Take Store (unpacking, sorting, and tagging donated store items), and many more short-term opportunities (i.e. Vet Clinic support, Marathon event support, Book Launch event support, etc.).

Volunteer Shifts & Location:

• Shifts Available: Mornings or Afternoons - Sun/Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs/Fri/Sat
• Location: Gerrard St. & Parliament St., Toronto
