Start date: Monday September 07, 2026
Position Summary
Responsible for assisting with Friendly Connections, Security Check, Meals on Wheels, and Health Promotion Outreach Services, and providing support to clients and caregivers in-person, and by telephone in accessing services, and information as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the Friendly Connections, Security Check, Meals on Wheels service delivery
- Supports and assists with health promotion activities
- Ensures clients, volunteers, and staff safety
- Performs other support duties
Skills & Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in a Social Service Worker degree, or certificate program with a recognized college or university.
- Highly detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Strong organization skills and accurate filing and record-keeping.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
Working Conditions:
- Sitting in front of the computer terminal for long periods of time
- May have frequent work interruptions
Other Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited post-secondary program
- Vulnerable Service Sector Check screening is mandatory.
- Must be 18 years or older.
