🎯 Role Overview

We are seeking a Social Media Strategy & Engagement Lead to guide our social media direction, strengthen engagement, and grow EquipHer’s visibility.

This role is not focused on content creation or posting. You will work alongside an existing content creator and focus instead on strategy, performance, engagement, and growth.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Develop and refine EquipHer’s social media strategy (goals, pillars, audience, cadence)

Advise on content direction and messaging (what to post, not creating it)

Monitor engagement and community interactions; suggest ways to deepen connection

Identify opportunities to grow reach (collaborations, trends, hashtags, timing)

Track and analyze basic performance metrics (reach, engagement, growth)

Provide monthly insights and recommendations to improve results

Support campaign strategy for program launches and key moments

Has experience with social media strategy, analytics, or growth

Understands what drives engagement and visibility beyond just posting

Is comfortable working with data, insights, and recommendations

Communicates clearly and collaborates well with content creators

Is passionate about social impact, girls’ empowerment, and education
