The Mindful Word is a collective of volunteers committed to creating a culture of engaged living. We're currently looking for a volunteer social media specialist to join the team.
Responsibilities:
As a social media specialist, you will be responsible for initiating and developing a sound internet marketing strategy for Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. You’ll pick which content to publish (from our site and the internet in general), publish it on a regular basis and follow up by interacting with readers on all three social networks.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of social media, with specific experience on either Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, and some familiarity with the other two platforms
- Excellent communication skills
- Good sense of initiative
Internship description:
- Work from home
- Minimum six-month commitment, four hours/week
- Letter of recommendation provided after three successful months
- Option to write for The Mindful Word and join the collective as a contributor-member
