About Artistry Community Artistry Community is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering independent artists through strategic online exhibitions and digital storytelling. We are currently in an exciting phase of upgrading our tech infrastructure to a Firebase-driven data environment to better analyze artist growth and maximize exhibition sales. We are looking for a motivated volunteer to help us expand our reach and connect with the global creative community.
The Role: Social Media & Artist Relations Coordinator (Volunteer) This is not just a "posting" job—it is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Digital Marketing, Data Analytics, and Artist Management. You will work closely with our leadership to bridge the gap between our curated content and the artists who need our platform. We provide clear guidelines and templates, making this an ideal role for someone looking to build a professional portfolio in the North American non-profit sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Adaptation & Distribution: Take our professionally drafted newsletters and adapt them for LinkedIn (targeting collectors and partners) and Facebook (engaging artist communities).
- Artist Outreach & Engagement: Proactively connect with potential artists to introduce our online exhibitions and invite them to be featured in our "Artist Spotlight" newsletter. (Proven outreach templates will be provided).
- Community Building: Act as a brand ambassador for Artistry Community, identifying new artists and helping them connect with our platform.
- Data-Driven Performance Tracking: Use Google Analytics and internal dashboards to monitor the performance of your posts and outreach efforts. (We will provide training on how to interpret this data).
Qualifications:
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to summarize complex stories into engaging, platform-specific social media posts.
- Interpersonal Skills: Comfortable reaching out to new people and building professional relationships within the art world.
- Growth Mindset: An interest in learning how to use data (GA, UTM parameters) to drive marketing decisions.
