About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate Social Media Manager to help tell our story, and grow a consistent online community that supports youth empowerment and social impact.

This role is for someone who doesn’t just post content, but understands how visibility creates opportunity.

You’ll help shape how The Komenda Project shows up online while contributing directly to fundraising campaigns, community engagement, and impact storytelling.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants hands-on experience while supporting meaningful work.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and grow The Komenda Project’s social media presence
• Create and schedule content aligned with our programs and mission
• Help communicate fundraising campaigns, projects, donations, and impact stories
• Support brand positioning across platforms
• Engage with followers and respond to messages and comments
• Share creative ideas to increase reach and engagement
• Track basic KPIs and suggest improvements to our social media strategy

What We’re Looking For

• Basic understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube is a plus)
• Willingness to learn and collaborate
• Strong communication skills
• Creative mindset
• Reliable availability

Tools You’ll Use / Learn

• Canva (for basic graphic design, following existing brand guidelines)
• Notion (for content calendars and task tracking)
• Social media platforms for posting and engagement
