About You You are a creative and organized communicator with a strong interest in social media, design, and storytelling. You are detail-oriented, comfortable working independently on multiple projects, and curious about how data and reporting can inform stronger digital storytelling. About the Role

  • Supporting the development of national program social media toolkits for BGC Clubs
  • Assisting with the creation of national partner social media posts
  • Supporting social media reporting, including data compilation and basic performance analysis
  • Assisting with program manual updates, ensuring content is accurate and visually consistent
  • Creating program snapshots to highlight key initiatives, outcomes, and stories
  • Supporting website content development, helping showcase national programs, youth voices and impact through visuals and copy
  • Administrative tasks as required

Social Media Content & Design Responsibilities

  • Designing social media and program manual assets using Canva and Adobe InDesign
  • Assisting with copywriting for social media posts, toolkits, and program materials
  • Supporting content formatting and layout for digital and PDF resources
  • Assisting with reporting visuals, summaries, and slide-ready content

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a College/University program
  • Strong interest in social media, digital storytelling, and visual design
  • Experience or familiarity with Canva and Adobe InDesign
  • Basic copywriting and content editing skills
  • Comfortable working with data for simple reporting and visual summaries
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks independently
  • An interest in marketing, communications, or nonprofit storytelling
  • Bilingualism in English and French is an asset

Eligibility

  • Must be between 15 and 25 years of age at the start of the employment
  • Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment
  • Must have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
  • Satisfactory clearance under the Enhanced Police Information Check
