Location: Remote (Ontario-focused)
Time Commitment: ~5–10 hours per month

About LSHC
Landlord’s Self-Help Centre (LSHC) is a community legal clinic funded by Legal Aid Ontario
dedicated to providing legal services such as summary legal advice, general information,
referral, education and support to small-scale landlords across Ontario. Our mission is to
provide clear, practical, and unbiased information to help small landlords operate successful,
compliant rental housing.
We are seeking Social Media Content Creators to help bring our mission to life through clear,
helpful, and engaging content.
The Role
This role focuses on content creation. You will help turn landlord questions, LSHC resources,
and industry topics into accessible social media content that informs and supports landlords.
This is ideal for someone who enjoys writing, design, or creative work and wants to contribute
meaningfully to the rental housing community.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Create short-form social media content (posts, captions, carousels, simple visuals)
• Turn LSHC resources and FAQs into social media-friendly content
• Suggest content ideas based on real landlord needs and questions
• Work from content briefs and a shared calendar
• Collaborate with the Strategy & Community Manager to refine and improve content
• Optionally assist with post scheduling or engagement, based on availability
What We’re Looking For
• Interest in landlording and the rental housing space
• Basic experience with social media content creation (personal, volunteer, or
professional)
• Clear, concise writing or visual communication skills
• Willingness to collaborate and accept feedback
• Ability to commit ~5–10 hours per month
