Location: Remote (Ontario-focused)
Time Commitment: ~5–10 hours per month
Term: 2026 (flexible, volunteer-based)
About LSHC
Landlord’s Self-Help Centre (LSHC) is a community legal clinic funded by Legal Aid Ontario
dedicated to providing legal services such as summary legal advice, general information,
referral, education and support to small-scale landlords across Ontario. Our mission is to
provide clear, practical, and unbiased information to help small landlords operate successful,
compliant rental housing.
We are seeking Social Media Community and Engagement Manager to help bring our
mission to life through clear, helpful, and engaging content.
The Role
This role focuses on community management. You will help manage the content calendar,
posting schedule, performance tracking, social media responses and proactive community
engagement. The role will also have a social listening component to it, to ensure that LSHC is
up to date on the latest conversations and trends happening within the space.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Create and manage a social media calendar, in collaboration with the social strategist
and content creators
• Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and mentions
in a timely, on-brand manner.
• Build authentic relationships with followers to strengthen brand trust and loyalty.
• Suggest content ideas based on trends, relevant community topics, reactionary topics
and the landlord landscape
• Track, analyze, and report on key social performance metrics including engagement,
reach, growth, and conversions.
• Use insights and data to continuously optimize content strategy and improve results.
What We’re Looking For
• Interest in landlording and the rental housing space
• Experience with social media management and listening
• Clear, concise writing or visual communication skills
• Willingness to collaborate and accept feedback
• Ability to commit ~5–10 hours per month
