Hive Life Haven is seeking a passionate and dedicated group of individuals to form our Founding Board of Directors. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape the strategy, governance, and soul of a new kind of national non-profit—one built at the intersection of community need and artificial intelligence.

Our mission is to build agentic AI for social good. We are creating "Buzz," an AI-powered platform designed to tackle the housing crisis and amplify the work of our community partners across the country. We believe in building systems that help organizations move from a place of scarcity to one of abundance.

The Opportunity: Be a Co-Creator for Good

As a Founding Board Member, you will be more than an advisor; you will be a strategic partner in bringing this national vision to life. Your role will be to:

Provide Strategic Guidance: Help shape our long-term vision and ensure our programs are creating a tangible, positive impact nationwide.

Establish Strong Governance: Build the foundational policies and financial oversight that will ensure our long-term health and public trust.

Act as a Passionate Ambassador: Champion our mission across the country, helping to build the key relationships and partnerships we need to thrive.

Help Shape Our Culture: Instill the values of empathy, innovation, and community regeneration into the very DNA of our organization.

Who We Are Looking For

While our initial projects are rooted in Atlantic Canada, our vision is national. We are seeking a diverse board with representation from across the country. A passion for our mission is the only true prerequisite, but we are especially interested in individuals with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

Community Leadership & Advocacy: Deep connections and a respected voice within Canada's diverse social and community sectors.

Non-Profit Governance: Experience serving on or leading a non-profit board.

Finance & Accounting: Expertise in non-profit financial management, reporting, and stewardship.

Legal Expertise: Knowledge of corporate law, particularly as it applies to non-profits and charities.

Technology & AI Strategy: High-level understanding of technology and its potential for social innovation (no coding required!).

Housing & Real Estate Development: Experience in non-market housing, property development, or urban planning on a national scale.
