
Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications
Dress for Success Toronto is seeking a strategic, hands-on Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications to lead our brand voice, integrated campaigns, and storytelling as we scale our impact across the GTA.
About Dress for Success Toronto
Dress for Success Toronto is part of a global movement for change. We are a local affiliate of an international not-for-profit organization operating in over 143 cities in 23 countries who collectively have helped more than 1.3 million women work towards self-sufficiency.
Since 2009, we have helped over 20,000 women in the GTHA transition from unemployment to economic independence. We work together with agency partners, corporate sponsors, individual donors, and over 100 dedicated volunteers to create real impact in women’s lives.

Reporting to the President, this role owns the organization’s marketing and communications strategy and drives execution across digital, donor, partner, and community channels. You will shape how our mission, programs, and impact are seen, understood, and supported, by donors, corporate partners, volunteers, clients, and the broader public. This is a senior, high-impact role for a marketing leader who blends strategy with execution and thrives in a mission-driven, fast-moving environment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the annual marketing and communications strategy, campaign calendar, and brand narrative
- Plan and deliver integrated campaigns for fundraising, awareness, donor stewardship, and partnerships
- Oversee digital channels, content cadence, email marketing, and website content
- Translate program outcomes and client journeys into compelling, ethical impact storytelling
- Support sponsorships, partnerships, PR, and media engagement
- Define KPIs and use performance data to continuously improve messaging and channel strategy
- Manage the marketing budget and external creative vendors
- Lead and collaborate closely with the Manager, Brand & Technology and cross-functional teams
What You Bring
- 5+ years of progressive experience in marketing or communications (non-profit or social impact strongly preferred)
- Proven success delivering integrated marketing and communications plans
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills across audiences
- Strong digital marketing experience (email, social, web, content planning)
- Graphic design skills with tools like Canva and Adobe.
- Comfort using data and KPIs to inform decisions and optimize performance
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- A mission-driven mindset and sound strategic judgment
