Salary Range: $70,500 to $85,500 per year annually with benefits and 3 weeks paid vacation
Work Location: Toronto
Work Environment: UNICEF Canada currently operates under a Flexible-Hybrid model that requires team members to attend the office at least 2 days/week.

The Opportunity We’re looking for a masterful connector. A connector of people, ideas, and experiences to create moments that matter for donors; ensuring UNICEF Canada remains the charity of choice for our supporters. Reporting to the Director of Donor Journeys & Growth, the Senior Manager will lead the development and implementation of a series of journeys and programs to improve retention and maximize revenue within the Individual Giving team’s product portfolio. This role will be responsible for a shared revenue target of over $20 million, and additional retention metrics. Key Accountabilities Donor Journeys & Revenue Generation (40%) ï· Develop and execute data-informed, multichannel strategies to engage UNICEF Canada’s donors and
demonstrate the impact of their giving. ï· Lead the full donor lifecycle across multiple products – from onboarding and upgrades to cross-sell and
winback. ï· Establish a robust test-and-learn framework to drive continuous optimization of donor journeys and
programs. ï· Analyze donor behavior and churn to inform segmentation, retention, and loyalty strategies. ï· Champion the donor voice by enhancing segmentation and personalization to boost engagement and
lifetime value. ï· Manage internal and external partners to optimize performance across channels including mail, email,
digital, phone, and SMS. ï· Apply best practices from UNICEF specialists and peers to integrate online/offline channels and trigger-
based communications. ï· Collaborate with Acquisition and Digital teams to share insights and refine donor profiles.
Program Management, Reporting & Data Analysis (25%) ï· Monitor and manage retention performance to drive in-year results and lifetime value, providing regular
updates to the Director and key stakeholders. ï· Use data-driven insights to recommend and implement gap-closing or growth strategies that enhance
program ROI. ï· Manage individual budget/P&L and collaborate on the overall Individual Giving marketing budget, including
monthly financial tracking and forecasting. ï· Provide annual revenue and expense forecasts, calendarize activities, and lead quarterly reforecasting. ï· Develop and maintain process maps outlining communication flows and touchpoints for each donor
segment. ï· Ensure business rules are clearly documented and consistently followed across the organization. ï· Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all legal agreements and contracts.
Strategic Planning (25%) ï· Collaborate with the Director and key partners to develop the annual strategy, budget, and content plan for
stewardship and retention initiatives. ï· Design, implement, and evaluate retention and value-maximization strategies using a test-and-learn
approach. ï· Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to continuously optimize donor retention and growth efforts. ï· Identify and apply new donor-centric communication and marketing opportunities through sector
monitoring, networking, and collaboration with UNICEF Global and strategic partners. People and Team Management (10%) ï· Foster a team culture focused on learning, development, and growth.

ï· Create opportunities for direct reports to lead initiatives and showcase their skills in various settings. ï· Define clear roles, responsibilities, goals, and work plans for team members. ï· Lead goal-setting and conduct quarterly and year-end performance reviews in alignment with
organizational processes. Qualifications
ï· 5–7 years of progressive experience in marketing or fundraising, with a focus on data-driven strategies and donor/customer retention.
ï· Post-secondary education in Marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience. ï· Strong strategic and analytical skills, with experience in business planning and strategy development. ï· Deep understanding of donor retention, loyalty, and lifetime value drivers. ï· Proven expertise in direct response marketing across digital, print, and telemarketing channels, with a
focus on metrics and best practices. ï· Solid financial acumen, including budgeting and forecasting experience. ï· Excellent project management skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple
priorities. ï· Demonstrated success managing internal and external partners to deliver multichannel campaigns with a
test-and-learn mindset. ï· Confident communicator and influencer with excellent written and verbal communication skills. ï· Proactive, results-driven work ethic with a collaborative and team-oriented approach. ï· Experience with Raiser’s Edge, marketing automation tools, propensity modeling, and intermediate Excel
skills is an asset. ï· A keen passion for UNICEF’s mission and work. ï· Experience with bilingual programs; French language skills are an asset.
