ORGANIZATION

Based in Toronto, Endeavour Consul3ng for Non-Profits is a Canadian charity that provides management consul3ng to improve organiza3onal capacity and community impact for non-profits that otherwise cannot afford professional consul3ng. Endeavour has two consul3ng engagement rounds during the year, in the fall and in the spring. For each round, Endeavour will recruit and match teams of skilled volunteers with non-profit organiza3ons in need of pro bono consul3ng.

Since 2007, Endeavour has engaged more than 1,000 volunteers on over 130 projects — delivering over $1M per year in equivalent consul3ng services to non-profits in Canada. Endeavour’s also partners with leading corpora3ons in Canada offer pro bono and skills-based volunteering opportuni3es that contribute to employee engagement, professional and leadership development, talent reten3on and corporate responsibility goals.

Role

Endeavour is seeking Senior Evalua3on Officers to join the Evalua3on & Research Team. The role facilitates evalua3on ini3a3ves that assess and enhance the impact of Endeavour’s programs on clients and volunteers to support the organiza3on’s con3nuous improvement. The team also maintains an updated database for Endeavour’s Key Performance Indicators, leads the Strategic Plan evalua3on, researches and writes about issues relevant to Endeavour, and support all teams with bespoke data collec3on and research.

Senior Evalua3on Officers work in either the Client Data or Volunteer Data Directorates, suppor3ng their directors in the collec3on and analysis of data and in other research and evalua3on ini3a3ves.

The posi3on offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact ini3a3ves, inform evidence-based strategies, and support excellent experiences for both volunteers and clients.

Key Responsibili4es

As a Senior Evalua3on Officer in the Client Data Directorate, your tasks may include:

• Conduc3ng client interviews
• Ensuring data quality
• Analyzing collected data and providing recommenda3ons
• Preparing reports and presenta3ons
• Assis3ng in presen3ng results
• Contribu3ng to evalua3on planning
• Contribu3on to dra]ing/revising data collec3on tools
• A_ending mee3ngs
• Suppor3ng Director and Vice-President in other tasks as needed, including Research ini3a3ves

As a Senior Evalua3on Officer in the Volunteer Data Directorate, your tasks may include:

• Administering consultant volunteer surveys and internal volunteer surveys
• Ensuring data quality
• Analyzing collected data and providing recommenda3ons

Qualifica4on
• Experience collec3ng primary data (both qualita3ve and quan3ta3ve is preferred)
• Experience analyzing data (both qualita3ve and quan3ta3ve is preferred)
• Experience synthesizing results into reports or decks, an asset.
• Familiarity with survey and data analysis platforms is an asset.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in nonprofit, volunteer-based, or client-focused programs is an asset.
• 1-2 years commitment to Endeavour Volunteer Consul3ng for Non-Profits
