ABOUT Eva's

Eva's Initiatives for Homeless Youth is a Toronto-based, non-profit organization committed to supporting young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Eva's works to empower young people, particularly Black youth and those with intersecting identities, by valuing their leadership, addressing systemic barriers like anti-Black racism and other inequities, and building community- focused, anti-racist pathways out of homelessness.

We bring our mission to life through integrated programs that provide shelter, transitional housing, life-skills development, employment and training support, and culturally responsive, trauma-informed care to help youth move from crisis toward stability and independence.

WHY JOIN Eva's

Eva's vision is to have strong and diverse Black youth live in thriving communities with a safe place to call home, with the supports, respect, equity, engagement and community belonging they need to flourish. Our values centre on the intersectional needs of the youth we serve, and they include youth leadership, 2SLGBTQ+ positive programs and spaces, centring Black youth, community collaboration, program innovation and accessibility and equity.

At Eva's, you join a mission-driven organization that pairs vision with action. Our work is grounded in inclusivity, advocacy, and compassion - and powered by teams who care deeply about their community. We offer meaningful work, committed colleagues, and the opportunity to shape organizational culture in a way that supports both people and performance.

ABOUT THE ROLE
