Summary of Position

This position manages Raiser’s Edge data and backs up the Gift Processing Team during Telethon and Variety Week. Also produces data exports/files for campaigns (Direct Mail, email) and maintains integration between all data and organizational programs.

Key responsibilities include data provisioning such as data exports for direct response and constituent communication, data integration of external and campaign return data, data integrity, as well as data analytics and reporting.

Specific Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Provide Direct Response data (mail and email) for all campaigns and constituent communications. Create necessary Raiser’s Edge queries, Exports, as well as the data file according to data specifications.

  • Create ad hoc data exports for Development and Marketing and Communications. Write RE queries as per their requirements

  • Produce analysis reports for Director, PS on an ad hoc basis.

  • Import campaign return data, as well as external data from Mailchimp¸ Fundraise Up, Great Plains, Text to Donate Donors, Givergy/32 Bid Auction Software, Better Impact, 50/50 Draws, etc.

  • Process updates to constituent addresses from Address Correction or National Change of Address data files.

  • Handle databases clean up – duplicates / merges, etc and direct PS Team in projects on data integrity and do global changes when applicable.

  • Manage Blackbaud program and users

  • Update Microsoft Power Automate Workflows

  • Create, update and analyse PowerBI reports

  • Other tasks as required

Relationships

Internal
  • This position reports to the Director, Philanthropy and Philanthropy Services

  • Daily contact with members of the Philanthropy Services Team and Staff, Members and Volunteers.

External
  • Liaises with vendors to complete data and analysis integration

Qualifications

Education & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years working in data analyst role or the equivalent.

  • Proficient at an intermediate level in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams

  • Expert level experience in Excel

  • Experience with Microsoft Power platform (PowerAutomate and PowerBI) is an asset.

Salary range
