Second Harvest - Relish the Foodie Event Volunteer

Second Harvest is once again partnering with Relish the Foodie event. A three-day celebration of food, culture and community which will include live entertainment, family fun and food!

Volunteers at this event will aim to spread awareness of our mission and raise funds for Second Harvest in fun and engaging ways.

Location: Cloverdale Mall, 250 The East Mall, Etobicoke, On

Roles:

50/50 Sales: Want to put your sales chops to the test while supporting a great cause? Volunteers in this role will sell 50/50 tickets to attendees and take payment using POS machines. Training will be provided.

Info Booth: Represent Second Harvest at our information booth by interacting with attendees, spreading awareness of our mission as well as applying temporary tattoos. Training will be provdided.

Photo Booth: Volunteers will support the Photobooth activation which will include taking donations with POS machine. Training will be provided.

Shifts:

Friday, September 18 - 4:45pm-9:00pm

Saturday, September 19 - 10:45am – 4:00pm OR 3:45pm to 9:00pm

Sunday, September 20 - 10:45am – 3:00pm OR 2:45pm to 7:00pm

Key requirements:

• Age minimum: 18 + years of age
• Good communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
• Flexible and adaptable
• Previous experience using a POS would be an asset.
