Scholarship Committee Volunteer

The Canadian Hard of Hearing Association (CHHA) National is seeking volunteers to join our Scholarship Committee. Are you interested in helping students with hearing loss achieve their educational goals? This is a rewarding opportunity to support the next generation of learners and contribute to the success of our scholarship program.

What it involves

As a Scholarship Committee volunteer, you will:

• Participate in the final applicant selection process between April and July (depending on the number of applications).
• Review the scholarship application form and supporting documentation (as CHHA begins the next scholarship season).
• Provide input and recommendations regarding the CHHA Scholarship Program.
• Support ongoing improvements to the scholarship program.

Requirements

• Internet
• Computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone

Assets (not required)

• Ability to use SharePoint (internet-based file sharing program)
• Experience with Microsoft Excel
• Bilingual
