ORGANIZATION
Based in Toronto, Endeavour Volunteer Consulting for Non-Profits is a Canadian charity, 100% volunteer-led that provides management consulting to improve organizational capacity and community impact for non-profits that otherwise cannot afford professional consulting.
Endeavour has two consulting engagement rounds during the year, in the fall and in the spring. For each round, Endeavour will recruit and match teams of skilled volunteers with non-profit organizations in need of pro bono consulting.
Since 2007, Endeavour has engaged more than 1000 volunteers on over 134 projects, delivering more than $8 million in pro bono consulting to local, national and international non-profits based in Canada. Endeavour’s partnerships with leading corporations in Canada offer pro bono and skills-based volunteering opportunities that contribute to employee engagement, professional and leadership development, talent retention and corporate responsibility goals.

ROLE
Endeavour is looking for a volunteer to join the IT Division as a Salesforce Developer. In this role, you will be the SME that guides design structure and enforces Salesforce best practices. You will work as part of the IS team dedicated to ensuring that we are maximizing efficiency and leveraging the full features and benefits of the Salesforce application.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Organizational Contribution
- Design, develop and maintain Salesforce solutions, configurations and integrations
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions
- Develop dashboards, views and reports to support reporting and BI requirement
- Implement customizations including but not limited to objects, templates, fields, rules and workflows
- Provide subject matter expertise to help IT/S Administrators with integration efforts
- Work with the VP and Director, Information Systems to ensure successful completion of upgrades, enhancements and integrations
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Long-term commitment (1-2+ years) to Endeavour Volunteer Consulting for Non-Profits
- Interest in non-profit sector
- Understanding of the general concepts of Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- 2 or more years of Salesforce development experience
- Salesforce Developer certification is desirable but not mandatory
- Ability to take a lead on identifying and implementing new initiatives
- Ability to collaborate and deliver results in a virtual work environment
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences, to understand user requirements and suggest solutions based on diverse stakeholder’s needs
- Detail oriented and self-starter with strong written and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Endeavour volunteer experience
- Understanding of client relationship management platforms
- Familiarity with Google Workspace
