Sales Mentor
Seaside Sustainability is a non-profit organization dedicated to ocean sustainability and education through action. We believe that the well-being of our environment, our communities, and our economies are inextricably linked.
We’re looking for an experienced sales professional to inspire and coach our volunteer team to sell BeBot services. You’ll help volunteers (many new to sales) learn how to confidently connect with municipal, commercial, and governmental partners, build relationships, and sell our beach-cleaning services. Your expertise will help shape an ethical, effective sales process that drives real environmental impact—creating cleaner, healthier coastlines for communities.
Key Responsibilities
● Mentor and coach volunteers in sales fundamentals: prospecting, lead qualification,
relationship building, and closing.
● Advise on approaching municipalities, public-sector buyers, and landscaping companies,
including understanding RFPs, procurement cycles, and compliance requirements.
● Provide feedback on sales materials (presentations, emails, proposals).
● Conduct or lead occasional workshops or mock sales sessions to build confidence and
skills.
● Help establish simple, sustainable sales processes and tracking tools for the team.
● Support volunteers in aligning sales messaging with the organization’s environmental
mission and values.
