Residential and Community Support Workers - Adult and Children's Services

The Ridge Meadows Association for Community Living is currently accepting applications for a Residence Workers for their many Staffed Adult and Children's Residential Group Homes. A certificate and/or experience in a field related to supporting people with developmental disabilities is required. Paid vacation time, sick time, benefits and pension plan for eligible position(s). RMACL is a nonprofit agency providing services and support for people with developmental disabilities, children at risk of a developmental disability or delay, and their families. We have been active in the communities of Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows since 1958 and today provide a wide range of services to over 700 children, adults and families.

Hiring Requirements:

Must have, or be willing to obtain, the following:

• Class 5 Driver’s License
• First Aid/CPR
• Cleared Criminal Record Check
• Clearance from Physician
• Food Handlers Certificate
• NVCI/MANDT (or willing to obtain)
• Successful applicant will be required to complete MCFD HUB screen which includes a Criminal Record Check and Prior Contact with MCFD check (Children's Services)

An equivalent of education and/or experience may be considered for this position.

START DATE: A.S.A.P.

SALARY: Classification; Residence Worker Grid Level 10 (Adults), Grid Level 11 (Children)

B.C.G.E.U. Collective Agreement $27.53 - $31.57 per hour, increases every 2000 hours worked.
